Terms of Service

Effective date: 20 August 2026 · Last updated: 20 August 2026

These Terms govern your use of TranSMS, a product of Ai4Life ("TranSMS," "we," "us," "our"). By subscribing to or using TranSMS, you agree to these Terms. Please also read our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your data.

1.What TranSMS Is

TranSMS captures bank transaction alerts (via SMS or manual entry), helps you confirm a spending category through Telegram, and logs each transaction to a Google Sheet that you own and control. TranSMS is provided by Ai4Life, based in the United Arab Emirates.

2.Eligibility & Setup

To use TranSMS you must provide two things during onboarding: the ID of your own Google Sheet (created from our template) and your Telegram Chat ID. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you provide and for keeping your own Telegram account and Google account secure.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to subscribe to TranSMS.

3.Subscription, Billing & Cancellation

TranSMS is offered as a monthly subscription through Gumroad, our payment processor and merchant of record. Your payment details are handled entirely by Gumroad under Gumroad's own Terms of Service — we never receive or store your card details.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through Gumroad. Upon cancellation, we stop processing new transactions on your behalf; any data already written to your own Google Sheet remains yours, since it was never stored on our systems in the first place.

4.Your Responsibilities

5.Data Handling & Security

We take data security seriously and design TranSMS around minimizing what we handle:

Full detail on what we process and why is in our Privacy Policy.

6.Third-Party Services We Rely On

TranSMS is built on infrastructure and services we do not own or operate, including our hosting provider, workflow automation software, an AI-based language processing service used to help categorize transactions, Telegram's Bot API, and your own Google account. These providers have their own security practices, uptime, and terms, which are outside our direct control.

In plain terms: we take reasonable, industry-standard precautions across every part of this pipeline, and we design the system so that as little sensitive data as possible passes through or is retained by any single point. But we cannot guarantee against every conceivable failure, vulnerability, or outage in third-party infrastructure that could not reasonably have been foreseen or prevented at the time.

7.No Warranty

TranSMS is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every transaction will be captured or categorized with perfect accuracy. Automated and AI-assisted categorization is a suggestion, not a guarantee — you remain responsible for reviewing entries before relying on them.

8.Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or fraud.

9.Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays, interruptions, or failures in providing TranSMS caused by circumstances reasonably beyond our control, including but not limited to internet or hosting outages, third-party service failures, cyberattacks, natural disasters, or changes in law or platform policy affecting services we depend on.

10.Termination

You may stop using TranSMS at any time by cancelling your subscription and revoking our access to your Google Sheet. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or misuse of the service. Because your transaction data lives in your own Google Sheet, termination does not affect your access to data already recorded there.

11.Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above, and where appropriate, communicated via Telegram or email. Continued use of TranSMS after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12.Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of TranSMS will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the United Arab Emirates, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
